Sonic Frontiers - Knuckles With Chao

This illustration is inspired by the animated short provided by Powerhouse Studios for SEGA entitled "Sonic Frontiers Prologue: Divergence" that features the character, Knuckles the Echidna. I found it endearing how he looked over all the animals throughout Angel Island and the little creatures known as Chao (featured in many Sonic games since Sonic Adventure in 1998) and I wanted to illustrate that protective nature of his through this drawing.
