Merry Bell (Greeting Card Illustrations - 2024)

"Merry Bell" is a new character I created back in October 2023 that I decided to develop into something more! She had this "Christmas" feel to her with a design highly inspired by classic 80s children cartoons such as Rainbow Brite, My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, etc.

I decided to have her debut as a greeting card character as well that would be Christmas themed in time for my last greeting card designs of 2023. Instead of the usual clean line art illustration, I decided to go for a more "pencil sketch" feel akin to the greeting cards of the 80s that featured soon-to-be at the time icons of the decade.

There will be more concepts and designs I will be developing with the Merry Bell character throughout 2024!
