DnA Dessert Collection - Carissa Morreaux (Key Lime Theme)

The third illustration of my DnA character dessert theme collection featuring Carissa Morreaux, the maid of the Vontelle home and best friend to Destiny Vontelle. Carissa's favorite dessert happens to be Key Lime Pie and since Key Lime Pie Day happens to actually exist (around September), I wanted to create a dress that was themed around the dessert for her. The draft of the design was a thumbnail made around the time of the one for Destiny, but I was unable to draw out the illustration until the following year (in 2020). All in all, she came out perfectly! But I may go back and add another background element, if possible.

Carissa's dessert design theme module is called "Key Lime Sublime". For this one, I wanted to go for a more vintage 50's style dress while keeping the colors and overall design elements themed around a 'key lime pie' look & feel.
